A Sky is Filled with Stars (Pokemon)

Ever since you first hatched, you knew that you were special.

It was a nagging feeling. A persistent irritation in the back of your mind. You were otherwise, a fairly ordenery specimen of your particular species. Nether typically strong nor typically weak. You lived a normal live in your natural habitat Sometimes, you had to run from trainers -- humans who would come and capture your kind in strange balls that seemed to brainwash those they were used against. One or twice, you had to fight such an individual. Those were dark fights, for no matter how you tired you could never shake their loyalty to their cruel master.

But for a long time now, no trainer has come to your home. Life has continued on as ever it has and you have begun to grow stronger. Becoming something more.

And one day, as the new sun rises in the sky. That annoying itch that you always felt explodes into something very different.

You are Scyther. An insect type Pokemon. The pokedex has this to say about you

''The sharp scythes on its forearms become increasingly sharp by cutting through hard objects.''

''It is nearly impossible to parry its attacking scythes. Its movements are like a ninja's.''

Scyther's live in groups of about fifty indiviudals. Dominance is decided by strength and fighting ability. Through your life, you have fought. Though you are not the alpha, you are high ranking within the group. Both male and female scythers battle for status within the tribe, though for a male there is far more at stake since you can be driven away if you are judged to be too ''weak''

The leader of the tribe is a Scizor He is slower than you, but his metal armour has allowed him to see many challangers defeated. He has lead for as long as you can remember and is the oldest member of your species that you know of.

You are a wild group of Scythers and you live a proud, though hard, existance. Your terratory is composed of mostly plains where little food can be found. As a scyther, you hunt for food. Taking other, lesser, Pokemon as well as fish and game. It is a hard life, but a rewarding one.

However, all of that is about to end abruptly. For, one day the head of the tribe, Scizor, sends for you. He is standing tall, armour pitted and proud. The sun is just dawning.

"We live a good life." He says, seemingly to no one. You are silent. Long ago, you learned that your lead is quite introspective at times, a strange quality for a member of the Scyther family. " We have lands, game, as much food as can hunt. Life is good."
